Your analytics choice

Google Analytics is optional. We do not load its script or send analytics requests until you select Accept analytics. Declining does not limit the time tools or weather. Use Privacy settings in the footer to change your choice. Your choice is saved in this browser; clearing browser storage or using another browser may ask you again.

If you withdraw permission, we stop analytics on this page, remove accessible Google Analytics cookies, and reload the page to unload the tracking script. Withdrawal does not erase information previously sent to Google.

Information used by the site

Your city selections and meeting calculations run in your browser. On a fresh visit, your device's time-zone setting chooses a representative reference city where available. This does not request precise device location and may not identify your physical city. Shared links include the selected cities, moment, meeting duration, working hours, and view in their URL; anyone receiving the link can see them. Countdown links include the event name, date, time, time zone and length you enter; WherOra doesn’t store them, but anyone with the link can read them, and like any web address they can appear in hosting request logs.

We store your display theme, time format, temperature unit, per-city working hours, named city groups, analytics choice, and weather cache in your browser. To show occasional tips, we also store a visit count with the time of your last visit, and whether you have seen or dismissed each tip; these never leave your device. Weather results are reused for up to 30 minutes. These preferences and caches support the site's functions and are separate from optional analytics.

Optional Google Analytics

When you accept, Google Analytics measures visits and site interactions and receives browser/device information and request information such as your IP address. It may set cookies, including cookies whose names start with _ga. We disable Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals in our configuration. Our initial page-view configuration excludes the URL query string and fragment.

Hosting and current weather

Hostinger delivers the site and may process IP addresses and request logs for delivery, reliability, and security. Weather requests go directly from your browser to Open-Meteo, which receives your IP address and the city name or city coordinates requested. We do not request your device's precise location. Weather is available whether you accept or decline analytics.

The global event page works like the countdown: the event name, description, times, cities and join link you enter are written into the link you share, not saved by WherOra. Anyone with the link can read them. Share images and QR codes are made in your browser, including any photo or logo you add to them; that image isn’t uploaded. The join link opens the organizer’s own site, which has its own privacy terms.

The clock widget that other websites can add sets no cookies, stores nothing in the browser and loads no analytics or weather. When a page shows the widget, the visitor’s browser requests it from our hosting, so it appears in the same standard request logs.

Holiday calendars

The Date Calculators page suggests a country using your device time zone, without requesting precise location. When you calculate, your browser loads the holiday list for the selected country from WherOra’s own server. No third-party holiday service is contacted, and your dates are not sent anywhere. Holiday lists are reused in memory while the page is open. These functional requests do not depend on analytics consent.

Your controls

You can decline analytics, change your choice in Privacy settings, or clear WherOra's cookies and site data through your browser. Browser tracking protection may block analytics even after you accept. The site does not require you to turn that protection off.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site or its data practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Your analytics choice remains available through Privacy settings on every page.
