Sessions in your time
Around the world
How it works
- Set it in your city. Pick the host city and enter the start time there. For an audience spread across the world, add up to three sessions, such as 9 AM and 7 PM London.
- Choose where people are. Add up to ten cities. Each one shows its local time and whether that’s daytime, evening, early morning or night, so you can spot a 3 AM start before you post.
- Create the page and share it. Copy the link, post the ready-made text, or download a square or story image with a QR code. Times in the posts are written for each city, such as “7:00 PM Houston · Fri 9:00 AM Manila”.
- On the day. Visitors see a countdown in their own time. Ten minutes before each session the Join now button appears, and the page shows Live now until the session ends. Full screen works well on a TV for watch parties.

Built for audiences in many places
Time zone converters answer one question: what time is it there? An event page answers what your audience actually needs. It shows the start in each visitor’s own time, counts down to it, and puts the join link in the same place. You also see how the time lands in each city you choose, including weekends and late nights, and get a warning when a clock change between now and the event shifts the time difference.
Several sessions, one link
If no single time works for everyone, run the event more than once. With two or three sessions, each visitor sees them all in their own time, with the most comfortable one marked Best for you. The calendar file includes every session, each with a 15-minute reminder.
Private by design
There’s no account and nothing to sign up for. WherOra doesn’t store your event: the details travel in the link, and the page builds everything in the visitor’s browser. For a simple countdown without sessions or join links, use the event countdown.
How do people see the event in their own time?
The page reads the time zone set on each visitor’s device and converts the event from the host city’s time, using each place’s clock-change rules for the event date. Nobody has to work out the difference themselves.
Is my event stored anywhere?
No. The event details are written into the link itself and are not saved by WherOra. Anyone who has the link can see them, so don’t include private information you wouldn’t post publicly.
Can I change the event after sharing the link?
A link can’t be edited, because the details live in the link. Open your event page, select Edit or make your own event page, change the details and share the new link. People with the old link keep seeing the old details.
When does the join button appear?
The Join now button appears 10 minutes before each session and stays until it ends, so people don’t join hours early by mistake. Tick “Keep the link clickable before the start” if it’s a registration page people should open earlier.
What does “Best for you” mean?
When an event has more than one session, each visitor sees the session that falls in their daytime or evening marked Best for you. If two are equally good, the earlier one is marked. If every session is at night for them, none is marked.
Can I add my own photo or logo to the share images?
Yes. In the share kit, choose a photo to use as the background or a logo to place at the top, then download the square or story image. The image is added in your browser and never uploaded, so it appears only in the pictures you download, not on the event page itself.
Why does the link preview show the WherOra image?
Social sites build the preview from the page before it knows your event, so every event link shows the same WherOra preview. Download the square or story image from the share kit to post a picture of your event with its times and a QR code. Very long links can’t fit in a QR code; a shorter description fixes that.
