Days between dates, without the guesswork.

Plan a project, compare a date range, or count working days before a trip. Date arithmetic runs on your device. Holiday dates come from WherOra’s own verified holiday lists, so your dates never leave your device. No account is needed.

Are the start and end dates included?

The start date is included and the end date is excluded by default, like counting nights between arrival and departure. Select Include end date to count both. A same-day range gives zero days, or one day when the end date is included.

How are business days and holidays counted?

Weekdays count every Monday through Friday, including public holidays. Excluding holidays also removes national public holidays returned for your selected country. Regional and employer-specific holidays are not included. The workweek is Monday–Friday in this version. Confirm the country suggested from your device time zone; it is not GPS location. Holiday calculations support ranges up to five calendar years, between 2021 and 2035.

Holiday-adjusted totals are available for 42 countries whose national holidays we have checked against two independent sources or official government lists, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and New Zealand. Holiday data is built from the open-source python-holidays library.

What is the current week number?

The badge uses today’s date in your device’s time zone and ISO week numbering: weeks start Monday, and week 1 contains the first Thursday of the year. Near New Year, the ISO week-year can differ from the calendar year.
